Hey, Baby! (That’s me!)

I’m on a journey (literally & figuratively)

Interviews and Media

Sometimes, other people write about or want to chat with me about my experiences.

Each time, I’m slightly bewildered and incredibly humbled.

Meet “Mayor” Jenna

A Korean adoptee, Jenna Antoniewicz grew up in Pennsylvania and fell in love with small towns during her time as a student and young professional in central PA. She received her BA in writing from Susquehanna University and her MS in education at Bucknell University. After several years serving as a student affairs administrator in higher education, Jenna and her husband, David, ("The Duke") chose Royersford as their hometown. Elected in 2017, Jenna resigned from office in 2023.

After an unexpected journey into her origin story and reconnecting with her birth family, David secured a job in South Korea, where they reside as of July 2023. Throughout her career as a residential life and student conduct administrator, Jenna had the opportunity to work closely with campus safety and local law enforcement to ensure the well-being of community members and property. Jenna continues to recognize the importance of building and maintaining inclusive and mutually beneficial relationships.

As mayor, she demonstrated her commitment to being an ally, fierce advocate for kindness, a steadfast proponent of mental health awareness and wellness, and a trustworthy liaison to borough council. She mindfully listened to community concerns, served as a champion for local businesses and organizations, worked to preserve and enhance Royersford’s positive relationships and programs, and collaborated with stakeholders to create diverse and educational activities for all ages, including the creation of a seasonal Farmers Market in Royersford Borough.
